Exhibiting at the Women’s Equality Party Conference 2016

When asked to exhibit at the inaugural Women’s Equality Party Conference, thank you, Lucy Lomas of the Stockport Branch, for inviting us, the decision on whether or not to do so was made in a flash. Of course, we would, a fantastic opportunity on a number of counts: not only would we be present at the historic first conference of this new political party but also have the opportunity to talk to so many wonderful women and receive feedback on our innovative clothing.

Factory samples of the initial collection were available during the conference for Fit and product feedback in colours Black, Nude and Fuchsia all in size small. With sizes Medium and Large in Black. Fit sessions provide a vital role in the production process in that clothing is tested by potential customers who are best placed to provide constructive comment on any developments in advance of a production run.

The exhibition also provided the opportunity to try out our new clothes rail and hanging body forms recently purchased from the lovely people at Shopfittings Manchester. I can’t recommend the helpful people of this store enough, customer service of the highest standard. As you can see from the photograph these supplies really set off our clothing to their best.

What was the highlight of this exhibition? The genuine and honest validation for our clothing. Weeping with happiness only touches on how we felt in relation to comments such as:

“This is the product I only wished existed before meeting you.”

“Truly a life-saver.”

“I really want to buy a pair of palazzo pants to wear in yoga. Now.”
